Week 35 of Pregnancy | Baby Position, Labour Signs & Pregnancy Symptoms
Week 35 of pregnancy: baby development, common symptoms, antenatal care and warning signs to watch for this week.

🌸 Week 35 of Pregnancy
“Your body is officially preparing for labour now 👀💙”
👶 Your Baby
📌 Size & Growth
Your baby is now about the size of a honeydew melon 🍈
✔ Around 46 cm long
✔ Rapidly gaining weight every week
💡 Most of the weight gain now is body fat, helping your baby:
- stay warm after birth
- prepare for life outside the womb
🧬 Development
✔ Lungs are almost fully mature
✔ Brain continues developing
✔ Immune system is getting stronger
🧘 Position
✔ Your baby is usually:
- head down
- curled up tightly because space is limited 😄
💡 Even though there’s less room now,
you should still feel regular movements 💙
👣 Movements
Movements may feel more like:
- rolling
- stretching
instead of sharp kicks
✔ That’s normal because space is tighter

🤰 Your Body
🥛 Colostrum
Yellow stains in your bra? 👀
✔ That’s probably:
✨ Colostrum
💛 Your baby’s first milk
Rich in antibodies and important for newborn immunity
👙 Breasts

your body is very busy right now
